There was plenty of excitement at the Caddens Corner launch last Thursday. Construction of the new Caddens Corner shopping precinct is underway, following an official sod turning ceremony last week.
The four-hectare site, owned by Western Sydney University (WSU), is the first stage in a broader plan to grow and reshape the campus network.
Caddens Corner will include approximately 9,000sqm of retail space and will be home to Woolworths and BWS. Specialty retailers as well as a childcare centre, medical centre, gym and food and dining precinct will be featured.

Michael Hay, of architects MHN Design Union, says he took a modernist approach when designing the building, using glass to engage the property with the outdoors.
Joint venture partners Newquest Property and Kaipara Property Group have fully leased their new Marsden Park local shopping centre Greenway Village in Sydney’s northwest in under four months ahead of its opening on Wednesday.
“We just ran a leasing campaign for the specialty shops and the response from the market was overwhelming,” Kaipara director David Hopper said.
